Margie Prescott

Margie Ann Davis Prescott, 64 of Folkston passed away February 29, 2012 at her residence. She was born October 8, 1947 in Wilmot, Arkansas to Lawrence and Olvie Viola Wilson Davis. She was employed with the United States Postal Service as a mail sorter and also delivered papers for the Charlton County Herald for ten years. She was a member of the Georgia Bombarettes Soft Ball League and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two children: a daughter: Sherry Lloyd(Steve) of Folkston; a son: Roger Prescott of Folkston; five grandchildren: Joshua Lloyd and Justin Lloyd of Folkston; Leslie Willis(Josh) of Hinesville, Georgia; Christina Powell(Justin) and Dylan Prescott of Folkston; three great-grandchildren: Colbitt Willis, Emily Willis and Caiden Powell; one brother: Marvin Davis(Mary) of Hamburg, Arkansas; Three sisters: Vivian Ware of Hamburg, Arkansas; Lucille Greene(Don) of Crossett, Arkansas; Virginia Robertson(Kenneth) of Eldorado, Arkansas; a Special Friend and Caregiver: Tracey Williamson; Several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Ruby Wilkerson; two brothers: Raymond Davis and Thurman Davis.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 2, 2012 from 6 until 8 PM at Riverside Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Randy Wainwright officiating. Burial will follow in Little Phebe Cemetery.
