MARGIE CREWS

Margie Deloris Canaday Crews, 90, of St. George, GA passed away Saturday, December 14 in Jacksonville, FL.  She was born June 14, 1929 in Moniac, GA to the late Willie Montoe Canaday and Nellie Stokes Canaday.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in St. George.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Clarence Hardy Crews; 2-daughters:  Marie Crews and Janice Gainey; 2-sons:  Clarence Ray Crews and Frankie Crews; 5-brothers:  Arnell Canaday, Monroe Canaday, Joe Canaday, Guy Canaday and Frank Canaday.

She is survived by her children:  Diane (Rex) Murray and Kenneth (Betty) Crews; 2-sisters:  Marion Clark and Nola Edwards; a brother:  Paul Canaday; 6-grandchildren; 13-great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 17 from 6-8 PM at New Life Baptist Church in St. George, GA.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 18 at 11:00 AM at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Finley and Rev. James Conner officiating.  Burial will follow in Boones Creek Cemetery.
