Margaret Louise Bryant Wainwright, 82, of Folkston, passed away March 31 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Jacksonville. She was born June 22, 1930 in Paris, Texas to the late John Elbert Bryant and Ethel Taylor Bryant. She loved children and was a paraprofessional in the Charlton County School System for 17 years. She and her husband, Ralph, owned and operated Wainwright Produce for 17 years helping many families in the Community. They would provide fruit and vegetables to the Charlton county Indians and Georgia Bulldogs.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years: Lamar Wainwright; 4-Daughters: Susan (M.R.) Altman, Vickie (Curtis) Woodward, Sonja Christopher, Terri (Lynn) Chauncey; 6-Sons: Ralph Wainwright, Jr, Richard (Vivian) Wainwright, Greg (Deborah) Wainwright, Bruce (Rachel) Wainwright, Brian (Mary) Wainwright, Joey Wainwright; 21-Grandchildren; 19-Great Grandchildren; 2-Sisters: Gloria Warren, Darlene Cason; 2-Brothers: Glenn Bryant, Ray Bryant; a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She is preceded in death by a daughter: Sharon McGauley Dinkins, a son: Keith Wainwright; 2-Grandchildren: April Altman and Caitlyn Wainwrightand a brother: George Bryant.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 2 at Shepard Funeral Home from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3 at 11:00 AM at Grace Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Reggie Herrin and Rev. John Boatright officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
