MARGARET TURNER

Margaret Louise Groover Turner, 89, of Hilliard, FL passed away Saturday, December 5 in Jacksonville, Fl.  She was born June 9, 1931 in Waycross, GA to the late Sylvester Groover and Mozelle Hand Groover.  She was a homemaker and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings:  Mary Tucker, Vernon Groover and Melvin Groover.

She is survived by her children:  Linda Sue (Jerry) Bandy, Henry Jerry (Carol) Turner, and Thomas Glenn (Melinda) Turner; a brother:  Wilson Groover; 7-grandchildren; 11-great grandchildren and 4-great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 9 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home at 3:00 PM with Joey Cason officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hilliard, FL

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules of social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service.   Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
