Margaret Roddenberry

Margaret Oreta Harden Roddenberry, 80, of Folkston, GA, passed away March 22, 2014 at the Life Care Center of Hilliard.  She was born in Hilliard, FL to the late Robert Herman Harden, Sr. and Leatha Gibson Harden Lee.  She was a member of Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father:  Joel Lee; her daughter:  Wanda Gail Roddenberry; two Sisters:  Laverne Harden Hickox and Mary Ruth Hoover; and a Brother:  Robert Herman Harden, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years:  N.W. “Boy” Roddenberry:  4-Daughters:  Donna Howard, Janice Roberts, Cindy (Sam) Johns and Dana (Brian) Cribb; 2-Sons:  Terry Roddenberry and Joseph (Honie) Roddenberry; a Brother:  Thomas (Ardeth) Harden; 16-Grandchildren; 7-Great Grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 28 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 29 at 10:00 AM at Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Parnell Aldridge and Rev. Ray McMillan officiating.  Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
