Mable Lorine Thomas Reed

Mable Lorine Reed, 82, of Hilliard, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2023. She was born in Nassau County, Florida on August 23, 1940 to the late James Brown Thomas and Verdie Lee Sikes Thomas. She was a member of River Road Baptist Church in Hilliard, Florida.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson; Brett Goodwin.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years; Jay Leslie Reed, Jr., 3-children; Hal (Kathrine) Goodwin, J.W. (Marjorie) Goodwin, and Lorine (Mark) Loder, brother; James (Brenda) Thomas, 6-grandchildren, and 4-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 12, 2023 at River Road Baptist Church in Hilliard, Florida with Rev. Benji Lloyd and Bro. Hal McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow at Little Higginbotham Cemetery in Hilliard, Florida.
