Louis Combs

Louis I. Combs, 77, of Folkston, GA passed away at his residence January 7 following a lengthy illness.  He was born November 3, 1940 in Folkston to the late Maine Marion Combs and Ada Aice Conner Combs.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a number of siblings.
He is survived by his wife:  Velma Combs; 3-Children:  Mike Combs, LaVonne (Eddie) Carver & Randy Combs; 2-Sisters:  Ruby Sellers and Betty Dicks; 4-Grandchildren:  Ashton (Caitlynn) Carver, Dalton Combs, Joel (Brittany) Combs and Danielle Combs; 4-Great Grandchildren:  Ashlyn Carver, Callie Combs, Kenley Combs and Ada Combs; his special little dog, Sassy; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 9 at 11:00 AM at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Hall officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
