Lona Kay Edwards, 70, of Folkston, passed away peacefully at her home September 10, 2011. She was born in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee to the late Everett and Louise Cartwright Sisson.
She is survived by her husband: James W. Edwards, 5-Children: Debi (Barry) Webb, Robert (Angie) Brown, Dale (Kayla) Brown, Jimmy (Kathy) Bingham, and Susie (Bill) Norris; 9-Grandchildren: Marie Ellis, Jennifer Crews, Ashley Webb, Ken Brown, Dale Brown, Jr., Chad Brown, Katie Brown, Mary Norris, and Katherine Bagwell; 7-Great Grandchildren; 2-Brothers and 1-Sister.
The family will receive friends Monday, September 12 at Shepard Funeral Home from 7-9 PM. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13 at 11:00 AM in High Bluff Cemetery with Jason Marden and Bill Norris officiating.
