LOIS PUGLIESE

January 3, 1938 — August 28, 2014

Lois Woolard Pugliese, 76, passed away Thursday August 28, 2014. Ms. Pugliese was a native of Folkston, Georgia and a longtime resident of Jacksonville FL and most recently, Chapel Hill, NC.  She proudly served in the United States Women's Army Corps from 1957 to 1960 and was stationed in Germany.  Ms. Pugliese was preceded in death by her parents Raiford and Lula Woolard, her siblings, Jackie Sandbak, Nadine Knowles and “Buddy” Woolard and beloved brothers in law.  Survivors include one daughter, Martha P. Cabrera, twin sons, COL John Pugliese (Jena) and Anthony Pugliese, two Sisters, Alice Peacock  and Ruth Scarbrough, four granddaughters, Maria, Christina, Chloe and Brooke Pugliese, numerous nieces and nephews, and other loving family members and friends.  Funeral services will be held at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church, 72 Camp Pinckney Drive, Folkston GA 31537 on Tuesday September 2, at 2pm. The Family will receive friends from 1-2pm.  Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.  Condolences may be expressed by signing the guest registry at www.shepardfh.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA.
