Lois Johnson Crews, 86 of Sanderson, Florida went to be with her Lord on September 14, 2011. She was born March 21, 1925 to Warren and Nora Elizabeth Green Johnson in Nassau County. She was a member of St. George First Baptist Church since 1955.
She is survived by her daughter; Brenda Hodges (Rick) of Sanderson, Florida; one Brother: Connie (Dickey) Johnson (Barbara Ann) of Hilliard, Florida; one Sister: Delores (Lori) Witcher of Callahan, Florida; two grandsons: Clinton Hodges (Kari) and Paul Hodges (Noel), all of Sanderson, Florida; three great-grandchildren: Ethan Hodges, Maddlynn Hodges and Isaac Hodges; several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband: Leon Crews, Sr. and a son: Leon Crews, Jr.
Pallbearers: Clinton Hodges, Paul Hodges, Ed Witcher, Joe Witcher, Mark Johnson and Michael Johnson.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 16, 2011 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. at St. George First Baptist Church. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ray McKendree officiating. Burial will follow in Boones Creek Cemetery.
