Lillie Peacock

Lillie Snowden Peacock, 87, of Folkston, GA passed away at her home May 30, 2021.  She was born December 26, 1933 in Folkston, GA to the late Royal Harry Snowden and Sarah Elizabeth Knight Snowden.  She retired from the Sumter County Florida School System.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Morris Clifton Peacock; and her siblings:  Erma Wickstrom, Reuben Snowden and Billy Snowden.

She is survived by her children:  Morris Stephen (Lena) Peacock, Patricia (Forrest) Alderman, Horace Clifton (Jennifer) Peacock, Marcia Lynn Peacock and Curtis Andrew (Jeanine) Peacock; 7-grandchildren; 7-great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 5 at 4:00 PM at the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery.
