Leroy Ritter

Leroy Ritter, 80 of Folkston, Georgia passed away March 14, 2013 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems, Camden Campus. He was born September 9, 1932 in Hazlehurst, Georgia. He served his country in the United States Army, was Self-employed as a carpenter until retirement. He was an avid fisherman, loved gardening and especially growing tomatoes and peppers. He was a loving husband, father, Grandfather and a good provider to his wife. He was a member of Folkston Church of God.
He is survived by his wife: Ruby Ritter of Folkston, Georgia; two sons: Donald Ritter of Jacksonville, Florida and Ray Miller(Ann) of Interlachen, Florida; Two daughters: Joann Hand(Gordon) of Hilliard, Florida; Paulette Blystone(David) of Folkston, Georgia; Eighteen Grandchildren; Twenty-nine Great-grandchildren; one Great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 3 brothers, a daughter: Pam Peace; 4 sons: Larry Ritter, Tony Ritter Walter Miller and Ronald Ritter.
Visitation will begin at 1 PM Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Edgewood Cemetery, Jacksonville, Florida with Graveside services beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Robert Gillis officiating.
