Leila Robinson

Leila Mae Wasdin Robinson, 82 of Folkston passed away November 14, 2013 in Community Hospice at St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville, Florida.  She was born September 29, 1931 in Charlton County to Cecil and Kizzie Crews Wasdin. She was a Member of the Red Hat Society , The Jewel Gibson Sunday School Class and a member of Folkston First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter: Susan Passieu(C.J.) of Folkston; Grandchildren: Jennifer Grubbs of Jacksonville, Fl.; Joanna Wainright(Matt) of Blackshear, Georgia; Joey Passieu of Folkston; Brett Passieu of Camilla, Georgia; Peyton Elizabeth Passieu of Folkston; Mandy Tyler, Josh Tyler, Matt Tyler; Great-Grandchildren: Makenzie Wainright, Jonathon Wainright, Catherine Grubbs. Leila was preceded in death by her husband: Fred Matthew Robinson; a daughter: Diane Robinson Tyler; her parents; and a brother: Frankie Wasdin.

The family will receive friends Saturday, evening, November 16, 2013 at the home from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be Sunday, November 17, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Folkston First Baptist Church with Dr. Randy Jacoby officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Northeast Florida Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida  32257 or First Baptist Church Building Fund, 401 S Third Street, Folkston, Georgia  31537.
