Lee Chester “L.C.” Register, 76 of Hilliard passed away Thursday, July 3, 2008 at his residence.
Born February 17, 1932 to Lee Chester, and Fannie Tomlinson Register in Archadia, Fl., he had been a resident of Hilliard for the past 22 years. He worked in the Trucking Industry and was a Relief Captain for Sunstate Marine Company. He was a member of Retreads Motorcycle Club and River Road Baptist Church.
He is survived by : Daughter Carmen Bernice Lawson of Hilliard, Fl., Grandson: Dale Lawson, Jr. of Hilliard, Fl.; Sister Sarah Register Johnson of Lakeland, Fl. He was preceded in death by his wife:Bernice Crews Register.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 8th at River Road Baptist Church from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 9th at River Road Baptist Church at 10:00 AM, with Rev. James Conner officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Jack Carter, Phillip(Skip) Brown, Jr., Glen Hickox, Pearl (Junior) Simmons, David (Yank) Fisk and Gary Lee.
