Leaman Crawford

Leamon Francis Crawford, 95, of St. George, GA passed away at his home Sunday, May 30, 2021.  He was born March 29, 1926 in St. George, GA to the late Jim and Josie Batten Crawford.  He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of St. George.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 74 years Alice Crawford; a son:  Ray Crawford; sisters:  Genevieve Raulerson, Emma Powell and Marie Raulerson; brothers:  John Crawford and Merle Crawford.

He is survived by his children:  Pete Crawford, Ralph (Sue) Crawford, Joan (Tony) Dority, Randy (Sue Ann) Crawford and Patricia (Tommy) Bryant; his grandchildren:  Brian Carver, Greg Crawford, Jeffrey Crawford, Clint (Tonya) Crawford, Bart (Jenny) Crawford, Brenda Lloyd, Andy Dority, Chris (Molly) Crawford, Mandy (Grover) Rhoden, Robert (Courtney) Bryant, Carrie Bryant, Zeke (Danielle) Bryant, Stephanie Lofgren, Lindsey (Michael) Kirton and Michaela (Doug) Popp; 19-great grandchildren and 3-great great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 5 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of St. George with Rev. Ray McMillan and Rev. Larry Finley officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Boones Creek Cemetery.
