Lawrence Todd

Lawrence Todd, 60, of Folkston, passed away August 19, 2009. He was a native and life long resident of Charlton County. He was born to the late Frank and Iva Lee Dubberly Todd. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving 2 tours during Vietnam. He was a member of the Folkston VFW Post #9560 and a member of the Racepond Church of God.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Ann Crews Todd; a son: Franklin Lewis “Buck” Todd; 2-Grandchildren: Robert Frank Nelson and Mara Nelson; 2-Brothers: James (Macie) Todd and Charles Todd; and 3-Sisters: Mary Raulerson, Vivian (Herman Carter) Sanders and Annette (Mike) Rozier.

The family will receive friends Friday August 21 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 22 at 10:00 AM at the Racepond Church of God with Rev. Sammie Dixon and Rev. Jody Griffin officiating. Burial will be in Racepond Cemetery at Sand Hill Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Keith Mitchell, Freddie Petty, Thomas Walker, Chandler Crumbley, John Hamilton, and William Kersey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bo Todd, Harry Todd, Ronald Lee and William White.
