LARRY HOGAN, SR

Larry Rubin Hogan, Sr. 54 of Folkston passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born January 29, 1958 to Henry Rubin and Marion Alice Purvis Hogan in Jacksonville, Florida. He was employed at Gilman Building Products in Blackshear, Georgia.
He is survived by his son: Larry Rubin Hogan, Jr.(Sherry) of Callahan, Florida; two daughters: patty Ellis(Paul) of Folkston, Georgia; Jennifer Hogan of Folkston, Georgia; a sister: Linda Newsome(Tim) of Jacksonville, Florida; four brothers: Arthur “Butch” Newcomb(Julie) of Jacksonville, Florida; Roger Hal Hogan(Brenda) of Yulee, Florida; Olen Hogan(Dawn) of Eastman, Georgia; David Hogan of Elberton, Georgia; eight grandchildren: Larry “Chandler” Hogan; Miranda Hogan, Tylor Hogan, Kansas Hogan, Haylie Harper, Madison Herrin, Ashley Ellis and Jessica Ellis; Dear Friend: Tonya Martini; several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 5 until 7 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home. Memorialization will be by cremation.
