LARRY GROOVER

Larry Dale Groover, 61, of Homeland, Georgia passed away at his residence May 28, 2011. He was born in Folkston, Georgia to the late Boaz Groover and Willie Mae Griffin Groover. He attended the Folkston Church of God. He was employed with Milton Salvage for six years
He is survived by his wife: Mary Jane Crews Groover; a Son: Beau Groover; Daughter: Christie Lynn Duke;3-Step-children: James Drury, Mary (Tony) Geiger, and Tracy (Mitchell) Lloyd; Sister: Janice Allen; 10-Grandchildren and 5-Great Grandchildren; Mother of his children: Susie and special friends: Jim Byrd, Ricky and Anna Sikes and Eldridge Milton.
Pallbearers: Mitchell Lloyd, Jim Drury, Eldridge Milton, Ricky Sikes, Jim Byrd, Ernie Horne, Bill Musgrove and Jake Carter.
The family will receive friends Thursday June 2 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3 at 2:00 PM at the Folkston Church of God with Rev. Mike Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
