Larry Cooper, Jr

Larry W. Cooper, Jr. 39, of Commerce City passed away on November 14, 2007 in Wheat Ridge, CO. He was born on June 2, 1968 to Larry, Sr. and Rachel (Mattox) Cooper in Baltimore, MD. He Graduated in 1986 from Charlton County High School. Larry Worked at Old Dominion Freight Lines as an over the road truck driver for the last 10 years. Larry Loved to ski, both water and snow. He enjoyed traveling in the mountains, talking to his momma on the phone every day and he was a member of the Boy Scouts when he was younger.

Larry is survived by his father: Larry (Loraine Freed) Cooper, Sr. of Brighton, CO; mother: Rachel (Glenn) Dixon of Folkston, GA; girlfriend: Melanie Gallegos, of Commerce City, CO; a half-sister: Lesley Cooper of Brighton, CO; 2-step-brothers: Lionel and Gary Dixon of Woodbine, GA; and 2-step-sisters: Vanessa Bennett of St. Marys, GA and Theresa Webb of Sparks, NV.

Funeral services were held Saturday November 17 at 1:00 PM at the Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, CO. The family will receive friends locally Friday November 23 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from6-8 PM. Local Funeral services are going to be held Saturday November 24 at 2:00 PM at the Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Lloyd and Rev. Parnell Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.
