Kenneth Sikes

Kenneth Lee “Papa” Sikes, 66, of Hilliard, passed away August 11 in Jacksonville following a short illness. He was a native and life long resident of Nassau County. He was a member of the Pioneer Southern Baptist Church in Pioneer, Florida. He was preceded in death by his grandson: Kenneth Trouille.

He is survived by his wife: Patsy Sikes, of Hilliard; 3-Daughters: Angela (Dan) Sikes of Palmdale, FL, Terri (Billy) Trouille of Hilliard, FL, and Rose (Marty) Morgan of Callahan, FL; a son: Joe (Teresa) Holton of Midway, GA; 3-Sisters: Irene Stokes, Betty (Robert) Carter, and Jerrie (J.L.) Reeves all of Hilliard, FL; and a Brother: Lee Sikes of Hilliard; 10-Grandchildren and 3-Great Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday August 13 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday August 14 at 11:00 AM at Nathalene Primitive Baptist Church with J.L. Reeves officiating. Burial will follow in Pigeon Creek Cemetery.
