Karen Heaton

Karen Patricia Harden Heaton, 64, of Folkston, GA passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 in Jacksonville, FL.  She was born July 9, 1955 in Folkston, GA and was a 1973 graduate of Charlton County High School.  She was the Housing Authority Manager for Charlton and Camden Counties and a member of Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father:  Charlie Earl Harden and a brother:  Stanley Harden

She is survived by her mother:  Jessie Ruth Harden; a sister:  Sharon (Kenny) Crocker; a brother:  David (Becky) Harden; 3-aunts:  Jimmie Jane Glisson, Louise Bryant, Rachel Dixon; an uncle:  George (Faye) Harden; nieces:  Erin (Danny) Waters, Emie Harden, Ashley Brown, Leila Harden, Alie Harden; nephews:  Travis Padgett, Daniel (Mary Ann) Harden, Chris Brown and several cousins, great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 11 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 12 at 3:00 PM at Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Lloyd officiating.  Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
