Julius Chancy

Julius Robert Chancy 78, of St. George, passed away September 18, 2015.  He was born May 3, 1937 in Quitman, GA to the late Julius Wilby  and Clara Neese Chancy.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of St. George. He proudly served in the US Navy.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a wife: Patricia Chancy, a son: Jonathan “Joey” Chancy, and a daughter: Kathy Chancy.
He is survived by his wife:  Kibbie Chancy; and son:  Robert Chancy; 5-Grandchildren; 5-Great Grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 23 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 24 at First Baptist Church of St. George, GA at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ray McKendree officiating.  Burial will follow in St. George Cemetery.
