Juanita Vinson Crews, 90, of Folkston, GA went to be with her savior, Jesus Christ on June 5, 2023. She was born April 20, 1933 in Shorterville, AL to the late Russell Gaston Vinson and Maebelle Hendley Vinson
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Crews and a granddaughter, Melissa Crews Hickox, her parents, a sister, Mary Barron and a brother, Gene Vinson,
Survived by her sons; Jesse (Joan) Crews of St. George, GA and Wallace (Phyllis) Crews of Citronelle, AL., grandchildren; Mikey (Janice) Crews, Ansley (Jonathan) Hickox, Tye (Cristina) Crews, Hayley (Ben) Gleaton, Spencer (Chelsea) Crews, Justin (Jennifer) Crews, Ryan (Samantha) Crews and Sarah (Nick) Starkey, great-grandchildren; Makayla (Justin) Douberly, Christian Crews, Melessa (Kordd) Davidson, Madison, Camden and Harrison Hickox, Andrew and Anna Lucia Crews (Tye), Sam and Kate Gleaton, Andrew and Anna Claire Crews (Justin), Colton, Luke and Callie Grace Starkey and Booney Crews, great-great-grandchildren; Paislie Crews, Olivia Davidson, Leah, Savannah and Brooklyn Douberly, nieces; Susan Whiddon and Karen Johnson, and a special great niece, Cathy King.
Juanita loved her Lord and was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Folkston, where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Ms. Juanita spent her whole career working for Citizens Bank/Southeastern Bank in bookkeeping retiring as an officer.
She loved to travel and saw most of the United States including a trip to Hawaii.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Shepard- Roberson Funeral Home.
Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Jacoby officiating. Graveside will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mikey Crews, Tye Crews, Justin Crews, Spencer Crews, Ryan Crews and a special grandson, Henry McMillian.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Malik, the staff of Folkston Park Care, Promedica Hospice, and the staff of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the programs at Folkston First Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
