Joyce Marie Crews Johnson, 63 of Folkston passed away May 1, 2012 at her residence.
She was born May 27, 1948 in Folkston to Owen and Joyce Johnson Crews. She had been a lifelong resident of Folkston and was of the Baptist Faith. She was preceded in death by a brother: Richard Crews.
She is survived by her children: Lincoln Kern; Sherrie Kern; Tammy Smith(Chip); Shannon Kern(Tracey) and Randy Creel; 3 sisters: Effie Walker, Lori Ann Nettles and Judy Crews; 4 Brothers: Frankie Crews, Ronnie Crews, Mike Crews and Kevin Crews; 13 Grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents Owen and Joyce Johnson Crews.
The family will receive friends at the home: 42264 Old Dixie Hwy., Folkston, Georgia 31537 beginning at 3:00PM on Thursday, May 3, 2012 and request that Memorial contributions be made to Shepard Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be Friday, May 4, 2012 at Sand Hill Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jack Stolte and Rev. Timothy Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
