Joseph Ethan Highsmith

Joesph Ethan Highsmith, 24, of Folkston, GA passed away January 19,2024 unexpectedly. Ethan was born on January 8th, 2000, in Kingsland GA to Betty Haywood and Bill Highsmith. Ethan was an employee of Kingsland GA EMT and Firefighter Station 16.

 He graduated from Charlton County High School in 2018. He was a part of the Charlton County Band of Pride, where he played the drums. Ethan was also a member of many other sports. Ethan was a very loving person and would do anything for anyone. His personality was one of a kind, just as he was. Ethan loved his dog Bella, she meant the world to him. Anywhere he went, Bella went with him! Ethan is loved by so many and will truly be missed by everyone. His joyful personality was so uplifting, and he was always up for a challenge!

He is processed in death by his father William Daryle “Bill” Highsmith, his grandmother Ethel Crews and another grandmother Sallie M. Highsmith

He is survived by his mother Betty Haywood, sisters Kala (Jess) Nettles, Whitney Dorman, Shelby Johnson, niece Bryleigh Garcia, nephews Nathan Nettles, Kaden Garcia, Brantley Nettles, Cecil Nettles and Blu Johnson.
