Joseph Haddock

Joseph Edsel Haddock, 94 of Hilliard passed away September 13, 2016 at his residence. He was born March 26, 1922 in Boulougne, Florida to Joseph Benjamin and Mamie Marianne Haddock. He served his country in the Merchant Marines and was employed with Seaboard Coastline Railroad and Amtrak, as an Engineer, until retirement.
He is survived by his children: Daughter:  Brenda and Glenn James Carmichael, Jr. of Rockwall, TX; Son: Joseph Byron and Lori Haddock of Greensboro, NC; Step-son: Dick and Glenda DuBose of Jacksonville, FL.; Grandchildren: Trip, Brandon, Ben (Megan), Kate, Mike, Mark and Kathryn Ann; Nieces: Pat Braddock and Gloria Petty; Nephews: Freeman Johnson (Diane) and Ray Johnson (Sandra); several other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife: Lorraine Beem Haddock.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 16 at the funeral home from 6 until 8 PM. Graveside services will be Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Buford Grove Cemetery with Rev. Chris Woodard officiating.
