Joseph Canaday

Joseph Franklin Canaday, 77, of St. George, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. He was Born in Moniac, Georgia to the late Willie Monroe Canaday and Nellie Stokes Canaday. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife: Norma Canaday; 2-Daughters: Cindy (Daniel) Moultrie and Kristy Yetter; 3-Sisters: Deloris Crews, Marion Clark, and Nola Edwards; 3-Brothers: Arnell Canaday, Paul Canaday, and Monroe Canaday; 2-Granddaughters: Ariane Laws and Danielle Laws; 2-Grandsons: Ezra Yetter and Patrick Yetter; and 6-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2-Brothers: Joe and Guy Canaday.
The family will receive friends Sunday, March 6 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Graveside Funeral services will be held Monday March 7 at 11:00 AM at Canaday Cemetery with Rev. James Conner officiating.
