John Williams, Jr

On November 14, 2010, our Heavenly Father called home Mr. John Williams, Jr. He was born May 4, 1935 in Eastman, Georgia to the late John Williams, Sr. and Ethel Jackson Williams. He attended school in the Mt. Olive Community and spent most of his life in St. George, Georgia. He worked at a Wire Cabling Company and worked in the Turpentine Industry. He was preceded in death by a Sister: Carrie Williams, a Brother: Clifford Williams and his special friend: Josephine King and one Great Grandchild.
He is survived by his Children: Geneva Williams, Joyce Williams, and John Williams, III; A Step Daughter: Karen Williams; Grandchildren: Mark Williams, Latasha Campbell, Alex Amiker, Tameka Rodgers, Joey Williams, Anthony Williams, Tatiana Sanchez and Ebony Davis; 12-Great Grandchildren; the Ex-Wife and Mother of his Children: Velma Williams; 4-Brothers: Elijah Williams, Gus Williams, Henry Williams, and James Williams; a Sister-In-Law: Geraldine Williams; Special Friends: Ms. Mary and Ms. Lucy; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday November 27 at St. George Church of God in St. George, Georgia at 11:00 AM with Rev. Gregory Washington, Sr. presiding. Interment will follow in the St. George Cemetery.
