John Walker

November 22, 1958 — April 19, 2015

John K. Walker, Sr., 56, of Carrollton, Mississippi passed away April 19, 2015 in Senatobia, Mississippi. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Wendell and Betty Walker of Hilliard, Florida.  He graduated from Hilliard High School and attended Georgia Southern in Statesboro, GA. He was owner and operator of Walker Enterprises, Inc. for the last 20 years in Carrollton, Mississippi.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years: Sheila Guynn Walker; 2-Children: John Kelly Walker, Jr.  and Floyd Wendell Walker; 1-Grandchild: MayCe Guynn Walker; 3-Brothers: Ken Walker,  Chuck Walker, and Donald Walker; Uncles and Aunts: LeRoy and Mary Redmon, Kelly Walker, Jr., and Richard and Ceal Walker; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 23, 2015 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6 until 8 PM.  Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Hal McIntosh officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Hilliard, Florida.
