John Crews

John Raleigh Crews, 81, of Folkston, GA passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at his home.  He was born June 24, 1938 in Riceboro, GA to the late Walter Raleigh Crews and Evelyn Winnell Huggins Crews.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Folkston.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter:  Terri Lynn Crews and a brother:  Bo Crews.

He is survived by his wife:  Yvonne Crews; 6-children:  John Blaine Crews, Micah Nathan Crews, Adam Kyle Crews, Heather Rae Snowden, Melissa Nicole Seabreeze and David Eric Walters, Sr.; a sister:  Martha Winnell Crews; a brother:  Bobby Jo Crews; 16-grandchildren and 1-great grandchild and a number of nieces, nephews and grandchildren that he raised as his own.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 25 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Friday, July 26 at the First Baptist Church of Folkston at 1:00 PM with Dr. Randy Jacoby officiating.  Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
