John "Bo" R. Lloyd, Jr.

John R. “Bo” Lloyd, Jr., 81, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 in Keystone Heights, Florida.  He was born November 12, 1941 in Folkston, Georgia to the late John Rufus Lloyd, Sr. and Winnie Mae Guinn Lloyd.  He was a former resident of Blairsville, Georgia before moving to Keystone Heights recently.  He was a member of Choestoe Baptist Church in Blairsville.  He was an Ironworker with Local Union #597 for over 50 years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter:  Lori Lloyd Whitehead; a sister:  Hazel Lloyd Wise and 4-brothers:  Carl “Bud” Lloyd, Sr., Ronald Roy Lloyd, George Albert Lloyd and Glynn Lloyd, Sr.

He is survived by his wife:  Janie Lloyd; 6-children:  Teresa (Harmon) Chandler, Debbie (Doug) Barnes, Barbara (Chuck) Price, Tommy (Paula) Lloyd, Joey (Kimberly) Chauncey and Jennifer (Dan) Roach; 2-sisters:  Judy Dixon and Linda (Kelly) Brown; 19-grandchildren; 19-great grandchildren; 3-great great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 12 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Shawn Sikes, John Hall, Kenneth Bailey, Dylan Keene, Fletcher Roberts and Stone Chauncey.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Seth Higdon, River Chauncey, Wyatt Lloyd and Bear Chauncey.
