John Becker, Jr

John D. Becker, 63 of Folkston passed away on March 14, 2011. He was born in San Francisco, California on August 5, 1947 to John Darrell Sr., and Estella Jean Bly Becker. He moved to Folkston in 1985 with his family. He worked many years at Folkston Nursing Home. John enjoyed helping the residents and their families, and anyone else that needed him. He loved his family and will be dearly missed by all.
John was preceded in death by his mother: Jean Becker and Daughter-in-law: Shaun Becker. He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Patti Becker; Sons: Darrell Becker, Kevin Becker; Daughters: Janna Naput; Jeannine DeLong and Cindy Burnette; Three Great son-in-laws: nine beautiful Grandchildren and lots of nieces, nephews and other family members. Mother-in-law: Corky Nihart.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Shepard Funeral Home Chapel from 12:00 until 1:00PM. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. officiating. Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
