Jo Ann Lloyd Lewis, 57, passed away Wednesday, January 20 in Callahan, FL following a lengthy illness. She was born in Folkston, Georgia March 17, 1952. She was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by her Children: David (Robin) Lewis and Paul Lloyd (Phyllis); her parents: Demery, Sr. and Mary Frances Lloyd; a Brother: Demery L. (Lura) Lloyd, Jr.; 2-Sisters: Nancy (Joe) Spencer and Jane (Howard) Taylor; 3-Grandchildren: Bryan, Megan and Lacey; a Devoted Cousin: Mary Helen Davis; her best friend: Cheryl Sheppard; her partner: David Lindsey; 2-Dogs: Buddy and Shadow; and Bird: Birdie; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 22 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 23 at 11:00 at the Shepard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Harper officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Maurice Adams, Louis Jiran, Will Davis, Joe Batton, Charles Bratcher, and Johnny Lewis.
