Jesse Anthony Sims

Jesse Anthony "Tony" Sims, 63, of Hilliard, Florida passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. He was born in Limestone, Maine on November 22, 1959 to Jesse Alvie Sims and Clara Frances Stregles Sims. Tony was a United States Navy Veteran after serving 11 years. He retired from the Nassau County School System where he was in charge of intercoms and fire alarms.

He is survived by his parents; Frances and Jesse Sims, his spouse; Bonnie Sims, 4-siblings; Debra (Mike) Nickola, Patrick Sims, Kenny (Sherryl) Sims, Tracey (Danny) Conner, 7-children; Melissa (Scott) Dalton, Joshua (Kim) Sims, Amanda Long, Bridgett (Mark) Whitener, Ricky (Stacey) Lee, Chris Lee, and Shawnee O'Neal, 17-grandchildren, best friend; Charlie Reed, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Pigeon Creek Cemetery with Rev. Paul Lucas officiating.
