Jerry Rhodes

Jerry Rhodes, 73 of Folkston passed away November 11, 2013,

at Folkston Park. He was born in Waynesville, North Carolina on

January 19, 1940 to Walter and Lucy Trull Rhodes.  Jerry worked for

38 years as a farmer at Perret’s Dairy and won a trip for Barbara and himself to the Bahamas.  He loved his family, farming, building,

working with wood and was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Barbara Shuler Rhodes

of Folkston; two daughters: Jolene Coppock(Terry) of Callahan, Fl.;

Diane Howell of Folkston;  two granddaughters: Kimberly Jean

Coppock of Jacksonville, Fl.; Nichol Adkins of Folkston; one great granddaughter: Alyssa Jean Crews of Folkston; two sisters: Jackie

Melton of Arden, North Carolina; Betty Jones of Canton, North

Carolina; several Nieces, Nephews and other Relatives. He was

preceded in death by a son: Norman neal Rhodes; Grandson:

Terry Lee Coppock, Jr.; One Great-grandson: Matthew Jerry

Crews; Brothers: Bill and Edward Rhodes; two Half-brothers:

Lynn and Guy Rhodes.

The family will receive friends Thursday, November 14, 2013

from 6 until 8 PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, November 15, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel

with Rev. Tim King officiating. Burial will follow in Live Oak

Cemetery, Callahan, Florida.
