Jean Loyd

Jean Ann Beener Loyd, 81, of Hilliard, FL, passed away at her residence June 18, 2018.  She was born February 13, 1937 to the late Thomas Francis Beener and Mary Evelyn Noel Beener.  She was a homemaker and a member of Ephesus Baptist Church.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a baby brother, Tommy Beener.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Hardy Lee Loyd; 5-daughters:  Lee Ann (Freddie) Jackson, Mary Jean (Andy) Land, Linda Lee (Jeffrey) Musolf, Tammy Jean (Preston) Reeves and Kristi Lee (Bobby) Simpkins; a sister:  Mary Loudermilk; 12-grandchildren and 12-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 21 at 11:00 AM at Ephesus Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin Lee officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in her name to Ephesus Baptist Church Building Fund, 48143 Ephesus Road, Hilliard, FL 32046 or to the Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.
