Janie Nelson

Janie Irene Carver Nelson, 79, of Hilliard, FL passed away on March 9, 2020 at Warner Center for Caring Hospice in Fernandina Beach, FL. after an extended illness.  Mrs. Nelson was born in Stuart, FL to the late Jessie E. and Mary M. Carver.  She was a resident of Hilliard, FL for the last 62 years.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years:  Leon Adel Nelson and 2-brothers:  Johnny and Raymond Carver.

She is survived by her children:  Tommy L. Nelson and Penny Nelson; a brother:  Bobby Carver; sisters:  Evelyn Carver Guynn, Catherine Carver, Connie Carver and Bonnie Carver Cooper; 9-nephews and 3-nieces and many cousins and other relatives.

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14 at 11:00 AM in Oakwood Cemetery in Hilliard, FL.
