James Carrol Todd

James Carrol Todd, 85, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 after a brief illness. He was born in Folkston, Georgia on June 13, 1937 to the late Frank Todd and Iva Lee Dubberly Todd. James lived in Charlton County his entire life except for his time in the United States Army during the Berlin Crisis. He married Macie Drury on August 27, 1960. They were married for 57 years, until her death in 2017. He enjoyed building and fixing anything, hunting and making homemade wine. He coached little league baseball in the 1970s and was a devoted supporter of the Charlton County FFA.

He is survived by his son; Phillip (Celeste) Todd, and grandchildren; Jake and Caitlyn.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Racepond Cemetery at Sand Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Pollock officiating.
