James Sikes, Sr.

James Murland Sikes, Sr., 83, of St. George, GA passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019.  He was born June 21, 1936 in Hilliard, FL to the late Jesse Edward Sikes and Nettie Batten Sikes.  He proudly served his country in the US Army.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his children:  Terrance Sikes and Danny Williams; the mother of his children:  Sara Wilson and a number of brothers and sisters

He is survived by his children:  Cindy Sikes, Wendi Clary, James Murland Sikes, Jr., and David Sikes:  20 grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 3 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM.  A graveside funeral will be held Wednesday, December 4 at 1:00 PM at Emmaus Cemetery in St. George.
