James “Jimmy” David Seldomridge, 68, of Hilliard, FL went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 27, 2016. He was born in Radford, Virginia to the late Maynard Lucian Seldomridge and Betty Zane Gwinn Seldomridge on December 22, 1947. He graduated from Hilliard High School in 1965. Mr. Seldomridge proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Air Force from 1967 to 1971. He attended the First Baptist Church of Boulougne and was a hardworking, Godly man who loved much and was deeply loved.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Charles Maynard “Charlie” Seldomridge.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Shirley Cribbs Seldomridge; their three children: Staci (Stacy) Worth, Sha Chapman (Richard) Thibault, and Tony Palmer; his ten prides and joys: granddaughters Jocelyn, Lorilei, and Alana, and grandsons Triston, Caleb, Gavin, Levi, Jonathan, Jace, and Keegan; a Brother: Johnny (Cathy) Seldomridge; three sisters: Patty Hall, Nancy (Mike) Wilcox, and Becky (Don) Altman.
The family will receive friends Saturday, October 29 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 30 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Boulougne with Rev. Chris Woodard officiating. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
