James Daniel (JD) Pringle, 65 of Callahan, Florida passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born June 3, 1947 in Bryceville, Florida to Daniel and Inez Higginbotham Pringle. He was a graduate of Baldwin High School, served his country in the United States Army for 9 years as an 82nd Airborne Ranger/Military Police during Vietnam Conflict. He retired after 22 years from CSX Railroad in Jacksonville. He formed and owned Pringle Photography, where he became a master photographer serving the Jacksonville area for 12 years, earning a degree of Master Photographer. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Jacksonville Downtown Campus. He was a devoted loving Husband, Father and Grandfather, always putting his family first. Most recently, employed with Quality Express Delivery of Jacksonville, Florida. JD was a kind and loving man, who never met a stranger.
He is survived by his wife: Zondra Scarbrough Pringle of Callahan; Sons: Jason Pringle of Ashville, NC; Jordon (Megan) Pringle of Camp Lejuene, NC; Daughters: Jayme Pringle of Woodbine, Georgia; Tabitha (Billy ) Braswell of Lyons, Georgia; Grandsons: Matthew Pringle of Atlanta, Georgia; Billy Braswell, Jr. of Lyons, Georgia; Louis Braswell of Lyons, Georgia; Granddaughters: Elizabeth Braswell of Lyons, Georgia; Molly Jane Pringle of Camp Lejuene, NC; Brother: David(Teresa) Pringle of Baldwin, Florida; Brother: Charles (Beth) Scarbrough of Callahan, Florida; Ray (Beverly) Scarbrough of Folkston, Georgia; Tommy Scarbrough of Callahan, Florida; Sister: Debra (Marcus) Rau of Callahan, Florida; 14 Nieces, 7 Nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers: Charles Scarbrough III, Chase Scarbrough, Thomas Scarbrough, Jr., Ryan Irvin, Tyler Pringle, and Scott Davis.
Honorary pallbearers: John Tetter and Jimmy Boyd.
The family will receive friends Friday, December 21, 2012 from 6 until 8 Pm at Bryceville Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Bryceville Baptist Church with Rev. Steve McCollum officiating. Burial will follow in Verdie Cemetery.
