Jake Petty, 74, of Folkston, passed away at the VA Medical Center in Lake City, FL following a lengthy illness. He was a native and life long resident of Charlton County. He was the son of the late Delmer Carl Petty and Ada N. Nettles Layton. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his wife: Peggy Petty of Folkston; 2-Brothers and 5-Sisters:
The family will receive friends Monday July 14 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston from 6-8 PM. Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday July 15 at Johnson Cemetery near St. George.
