Jacquelyn Louise Fillingim Hannaford, 95, of Folkston, Georgia passed away at home on Saturday, November 2, 2024. She was born in Quincy, Florida on April 5, 1929, to the late Marvin Jackson Fillingim and Jewel Holley Fillingim. Jacquelyn was a member of First Baptist Church of Folkston where she was a Director of Girl’s Auxilary (GA’s) FBC. She was also a Pink Lady at Charlton Memorial Hospital and an Eastern Star at Folkston A&M Lodge 196.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years: J.O. Hannaford, Jr.; son: James Michael Hannaford; and brothers: Alex Fillingim and Julian Fillingim.
She is survived by her daughter: Jeanne (Don) Crews; grandsons Greg Crews and Geoff (Jenna) Crews; great-grandchildren: Amelia Crews and Gage Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Folkston with Dr. Randy Jacoby and Chaplain Carlos White officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
