Jack Burnette, Sr

Jack Norman Burnette, Sr., 74, of Hilliard, passed away January 28 at his residence. He was born in Hortense, Georgia to the late James Norman and Thelma Carter Burnette. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hilliard, FL.
He is survived by his wife of almost 51 years: Sandy Burnette; 3-Children: Jack Norman (Deborah) Burnette, Jr., Kevin Michael (Dawn) Burnette and Suzanne Burnette (Roger) Pickett; 3-Sisters: Tillie (Carlous) Stalvey, Joan Bond, and Brenda (Nolan) McLaine; a Brother: Kenneth (Jo Ann) Burnett; a Sister-In-Law: Betty Burnett; 7-Grandchildren: Brandon Chase Burnette, Elisabeth Burnette, Hollie Walker, Thomas Walker Burnette, Aaron Michael Burnette, Suzannah Pickett (Chase) Howell, and Peyton Pickett; a Great Grandchild: Natalie Grace Howell. He was preceded in death by a Brother: Jimmy Burnett
The family will receive friends Monday, January 31 at the First Baptist Church in Hilliard, FL from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the First Baptist Church at 10:00 AM with Rev. Bobby Richardson, Dr. Richie Allen and Rev. Wayne Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Hilliard, FL.
Pallbearers will be Cris McConnell, A.B. Chapman, Larry Welch, Nolan McLaine, Joe Vickery, David Buchanan, and Richard Armstrong.
