Irene Lloyd

Rose Irene Duggan Lloyd, 88, passed away suddenly on December 11, 2007 and went home to be with the Lord. She was born July 30, 1919 in Enigma, Georgia to the late Noley Alfred Duggan and the late Frances Malissie Hopson. She was preceded in death by her husband: Willie Willis Lloyd and a Daughter: Joan Elizabeth Lloyd and a sister: Dorothy Parker. She was a faithful member of the Homeland Church of God of Prophecy for over 30 years and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her children: Virginia Barber, Vera (Louis) West, Donnie (Nancy) Lloyd and Wilson (Tammy) Lloyd all of Folkston; 16-Grandchildren, 24-Great Grandchildren, and 8 Great Great Grandchildren; 3-Brothers: Ralph Duggan of Jacksonville, Arthur Duggan of Jacksonville, and Paul (Lorraine) Duggan of WA; a Sister: Frances Parrish of ID.

The family will receive friends Thursday December 13 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday December 14 at 11:00 AM at the Homeland Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Ricky Knox officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.
