Hester Ann Lee Snellgrove, 88, of Folkston, Georgia, passed away December 9, 2011. She was born in Coffee County, Georgia to the late George Morgan and Catherine Davis Morgan. She retired from the Charlton County School System after 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands: Jessie Lee and James Snellgrove, a son Larry Fairless Lee, a daughter Odell lee Nettles and a great-grandson Brad D. Nettles
She is survived by her 4-Children: Lesley M. Lee, General Franklin Lee, Joann Nettles and Joseph Ezra Lee; a Brother: Henry Morgan; and a sister: Lula Thomas; 17-Grandchildren and 33-Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday December 10 at Shepard Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be Sunday, December 11 at 2:00 PM in the Shepard Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Marvin Lee and Rev. Andrew Gillis officiating. Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.
