Helen Ray

Helen Louise Bryant Ray, 89 of St. George passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Alachua County, Florida to Bertha Fowler Bryant and Cliff Bryant on May 8, 1919. She had been a resident of Charlton County for the past 15 years. She was a member of Dinsmore Church of God. She is survived by Four daughters: Sarah Team(Rev. Willie J.) of Jacksonville, Fl.; Donnie Howard(James) of Bryceville, Fl.; Fay Hand of Hilliard, Fl.; Rachel Kicklighter (Don) of St. George, Ga.; Eleven Grandchildren; 23 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great-great Grandchild; Several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband: Cleaton Ray; Two daughters: Bert Booth and Sue Rhoden. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 20, 2008 from 6 until 8PM at Shepard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, November 21, 2008 at 11:00AM at Dinsmore Church of God, with Rev. Willie J. Team officiating. Burial will be in Bridge Ford Cemetery, Hazelhurst, Ga. At 4:00PM.
