Helen Altman

Helen Ann Upton Altman, 56 of Lake City, Florida passed away August 30, 2009 in Shands at the University of Florida, Gainesville.
She was born in Chattanooga, Tn. On May 26, 1953 to Mrs. Helen M. Riley and the late Thomas R. Upton. She was of Baptist Faith.
She is survived by two daughters: Janelle Johnson(James) of Talladega, Al.; Miranda Boman(Cephas) of Buhler, Ks.; Grandchildren: Kerry Johnson, Bethany Altman, Levi Boman, Rhiannon Johnson, Allison Boman, Noah Barrow and Isaiah Boman; Her mother: Helen M. Riley; One brother: Thomas R. Upton, Jr. of Talladega, Al. ; and many other relatives. Helen was preceded in death by her step-father:Walter Lee Riley.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 3, 2009 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, at Shepard Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow in Pineview Cemetery at 11:00 AM , with Brother Timmy Renshaw officiating.
