Harvey Bill Wilson, Sr., 64 of Folkston passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at his residence.
He was born February 19, 1945 to William Taft and Caroline Peoples Wilson in Shrieveport, Louisiana. He served his country and retired from the United States Navy. He had been a resident of Charlton County for the past eleven years. Harvey was a member of the Folkston Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years: Rae Evelyne Jones Wilson of Folkston; Two sons: Harvey Wilson, Jr. and Damion Wilson, both of Atlanta, Georgia; One brother: Andrew Wilson(Jeanette) of Long Beach, California; Three sisters: Dorothy Wilson Wheeler of Compton, California; Maudie Wilson of Riverside, California; and Eloise Wilson Gendron of Hesperia, California; Three grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Folkston Church of Christ, with Bro. Daryl Conley officiating.
