Harry Wayne Clark, Sr., 75, passed away on September 17, 2024 at Baptist Village in Waycross, Georgia. He was born on February 6, 1949 in Folkston, Georgia to the late Noah Lee Clark, Sr. and Juanita Hodges Clark Tomlinson. He was a member of Folkston Methodist Church.

Wayne was quite a conversationalist and enjoyed talking to whomever he met. He held a wide variety of interests; a lifelong lover of books and studying the Bible, Greek, & Hebrew. He enjoyed all sports, playing golf and gourmet cooking. Wayne dearly loved his family, immediate and extended, and liked discussing genealogy.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Butler Clark; and a brother, Donald Lee Clark, Sr.

He is survived by two children, Hank (Abbi) Clark and Amanda (Todd) Lassiter; nine grandchildren, Gage (Taylor) Clark, Madison (Jonathan) Salgado, Emma (Chad) Miller, Davis Clark, Audrey Clark, Isabella (Justin) Schwarz, Gabe Lassiter, Cy Lassiter and Lex Lassiter; four great-grandchildren, Valor Miller, Titus Miller, Eve Clark and Adriana Salgado, with a fifth one due to arrive in November; the mother of his children, Carol Willard Clark; two sisters, Dianne (Jack) Gaenzle and Vivian (Richard) Wainwright; a brother, Noah Lee (Donna) Clark, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Cathy P. Clark; numerous nieces and nephews; and cousins who were close as brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, October 8 at Folkston Methodist Church. Memorial Service to begin at 11 AM with Rev. Robby Paulk officiating. 

Family are invited to gravesite at Pineview Cemetery following lunch in the fellowship hall.

Memorialization will be by cremation. Services in Care of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home.
